I went home a day early this weekend to escape the snow and set up a little studio in my sitting room, right by the roaring log fire whilst it poured down with snow outside. I've been working on some close up, abstract drawing of cacti spikes and textures, which I've really been enjoying.
On Saturday night however, I slipped on some ice in central London and ended up in A&E with a broken wrist, ouch. With my final major textile project in full swing, this is pretty bad timing! So I'm having to rethink my work a little bit, as screen printing is out of the question for the next 6 weeks. Blogging may also have to take a back seat because everything is taking me twice as long with only one arm. Whilst recovering a bit, I started reading Room, which I can't seem to put down now! I'm now trying to avoid any snow/ ice. Have you had any snow where you are?
